I’m a therapist who understands how essential it is for the clients' concerns to be met with curiosity, empathy, and understanding. You won't get any blank stares, advice, or judgment from me. Instead, I'll be asking you thoughtful questions so we both understand your story and resulting emotions. We'll also use creative activities so you learn to let go of all that stuff that's holding you back. Also, you also won't hear me talking about myself, because our focus is talking about you.

I practice as a trauma therapist because I believe that traumatic events lead to mental health challenges. My approach helps you uncover, understand, and process the awful things that happened to you. As scary as it sounds, talking to a supportive, skilled therapist about your trauma does make you feel better. In fact, my clients often share that they feel less symptomatic, understood, and validated after just one session.
But what if I’m not a trauma survivor? That’s okay! We can still work together. However, many clients learn through our sessions that being bullied, having neglectful parents, or being in controlling romantic relationships, etc. are all forms of trauma, and many of us have survived at least one awful experience that continues to linger with us.
