My Five Philosophies
Everyone needs therapy at some point in their lives.
It doesn't matter why you need therapy, what matters is that you get help.
You're allowed to make mistakes!
Especially when you're learning something new, changing old habits, or engaging in new ways of thinking - all of which you're likely to experience, and grow from, in therapy.
You will feel better if you are motivated, open, and trusting of the process.
*Disclaimer - this also requires that you find a therapist who is a good fit for you. How do you know if your therapist is a good fit? You have found the right fit if: you feel safe, understood, heard, and the sessions are centered around you and your issues.
Allowing yourself to feel your emotions is necessary for healing
“Emotional discomfort is the price of admission to a meaningful life”
Susan David
You are worth the time, money, and energy that therapy requires.
It is the ultimate form of self-care.
